How did The Visionary Boss start?
In 2014, Kaylan Boss, the founder and creator of The Visionary Boss won the Miss Jr. Teen Tampa pageant with her twin sister. After her pageant win, she Miss Jr. Teen Tampa, with her twin sister. When asked to describe herself in one word, she responded with ‘visionary,’ because she ‘believed in envisioning in the future, and creating a reality that [she] was passionate about.”
After her pageant win, she began to develop her brand, an online boutique, and a series of conferences honing in on self-confidence and self-love.
In 2016, Kaylan launched TheVisionaryBoss.com to share the best in wellness, lifestyle, and career. Her goal was to create digital home to share her thoughts on self-development and everyday life, while also highlighting elevated food & drink experiences.

After completing a preliminary interview, Kaylan and her twin sister Kat are accepted into the Miss Jr. Teen Tampa pageant competition.

How did The Visionary Boss start?
2013
After completing a preliminary interview, Kaylan and her twin sister Kat are accepted into the Miss Jr. Teen Tampa pageant competition.
2014
On February 2nd, 2014, Kaylan competes for Miss Jr. Teen Tampa. During the second round of the pageant, she is asked to describe herself in word. She answers: “I’m a visionary because I believe in envisioning in the future and creating a reality that I am passionate about.” Kaylan places first runner-up, and her twin sister, Kat wins 1st place for the teen division of Miss Jr. Teen Tampa.
Following the win, Kaylan and Kat plan & host a conference to promote self-confidence, self-love, and anti-bullying.
2015
Entering into her junior year of high school, Kaylan starts planning an online blog to highlight wellness, health, self-development, mental health, and lifestyle. As an enjoyer of green juice & fruit smoothies, and an avid lover of meditation, self-healing, and nature walks , Kaylan wants to share her intentional wellness findings.
